HOW TO BUILD A CHERRY HEAD AVATAR

This very basic tutorial is meant for beginners, those who don't particularly know much about using heads that are alternative from the more popular ones.
It will go over just the barebones of how to put together an avatar with the Cherry Mesh Anime Head; as it does require a few things to "look right."

Firstly, you'll want your Cherry Head, and a mesh body of your choice. Really, any mesh body; or even the classic system body. The Cherry Head is unrigged, and can be moved around and adjusted at will.
Don't forget you'll want to have your Cherry Head HUD equipped too; It's called "V5 HUD v1.3" and it's how you'll control your facial expression.

Secondly, you'll want an alpha layer that will alpha out both your head and your eyes. This head is not BOM and will not automatically cover your system head/eyes.
If you've bought a Utilizator head before, you should have one that should work. But if not, here is a link to one.

After putting that on, you might notice your neck has basically gotten cut off (this is not a problem if you use Kemono). No-no, don't lower your head down to meet the cut-off of your neck, it will look like you have no neck!
Please get this neck extension addon. If your body is BOM, put on the neck called "AP: Female Neck Fix v3, Bakes on Mesh, SLUV Upper Body." It will continue the texture from where your upper body texture ended.
DO NOT put on the one labeled "SLUV Head/Neck," it will either just still be transparent, or be red, which is not what we want.
If your body is not BOM, but still needs a neck extension, use one of the ones labeled "Grid UV." You can texture that one manually (or just tint it to match your body skin).

Then you'll likely need to reposition your Cherry Head a little.
You'll first want to make sure it's positioned correctly on your neck, so that it looks natural.
Even though it's meant for a different head, I've provided Utilizator's handy guide image for this. It's still quite useful.

Then, if you want your Cherry Head to fit rigged hair, you'll want to put on a random rigged hair (for testing the fit), and then you'll want to follow another one of Utilizator's handy guides for fitting an unrigged head to rigged hair. (Again, meant for a different head, but still useful!)

You may have to go back and forth a little between changing the size of your head in shape editor, and resizing your head via right clicking pressing "Edit" on the actual head, then using the "Stretch" tool.

If you don't really wear rigged hairs, you don't need to worry about all of that.

Now that you have your avatar all fitted, you can go ahead and customize it with appliers.
Because Cherry Head uses an applier system, always make a copy of your head before applying new things to it! That way, you can save different versions of the head to different outfits and avatars, without having to use your appliers every time you change.
Here is a handy link to all of the known stores that have created mods for Cherry Head.

That should be about it for the very basics of setting up an avatar with Cherry Head.
Please enjoy your new head!
